The Moosettes journeyed to Buckinghamshire, only to find the British summer interfering.
After losing the toss, Hertfordshire was sent in to bat on a damp pitch at Dinton CC. Amelia Kemp and Kezia Hassall provided a solid start before Kemp fell to a catch behind off the Buckinghamshire captain, courtesy of a delivery that just nipped away. Mabel Reid and Kezia Hassall then capitalized on anything slightly off target, guiding the team to 57-1 before rain interrupted play. Unfortunately, given the persistent wet weather this spring, it didn't take long for puddles to evolve into lakes, prompting the decision to abandon the match.
The Moosettes now have a break before transitioning to T20 mode against Middlesex and Surrey at the end of the month.
